Keds x Kate Spade 2013 Spring Collection

Keds & KIate teamed Up Again 

The Fall 2013 Kate Spade x Keds shoe line, which hits August 1, will feature a little bit more of the same (polka dots, stripes), and a little something different (oversized leopard, apple prints).

Keds（本社：ミシガン州ロックフォード、リック­・ブラックショウ社長）はケイト・スペード（本部：ニューヨーク）とのコラボレーションで「2013 Fall Collection」を8月1日発売した。

ベースモデルはクラシック「チャンピオン・オックス」で、アッパーはポルカドット、ストライプ、アニマルプリント、アップルのプリントである。価格（MSRP）は75ドルで、ケイト・スペードストア、ケッズストア、ノルドストロームで発売している。

Keds president Rick Blackshaw explained the “new twist for fall” to ELLE: “We’ve gone even more graphic this season, with bold prints featured on our most feminine silhouette, the Champion Rally, giving a lot of style on a slender sneaker.”

Kedsはケイト・スペードのカプセルコレクションを2013年２月に発売したが、好評だったためFall Collectionも発売したものである。一見するとSpring Collectionあまり変わらないように見えるが、アニマルとアップル柄が追加されており、ドットの大きさも微妙に変更している。

Kedsはこの数年、Jeffrey、GAP、Knzo、Steven Alan、Opening Ceremony、Madewellとコラボレーションを次々に発表して来た。いっぽうケイトはニューヨーク本拠のデザイナーでは、今が旬の売れっ子で、この両者のコラボレーションなら売れないはずがない。kedsはMadewellとのコラボレーションモデルも好評だが、人気の点ではケイトのほうが上である。
